On August 24th, Volunteer Services hosted several organizations that volunteered their employee’s time to complete service projects at our nine LiveWell Kids gardens located at Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach elementary schools. This was a great opportunity to bring awareness about our programs and volunteer opportunities to the business community.

A special thank you to the 15 Garden Angels and Garden Docents that came out to guide these employees on projects like composting, building garden beds, pulling out crab grass and building shelters for worm farms! Our students are going to be off to a great start when they return to school.
