Since 1998, friendly volunteers have delivered holiday gift bags filled with a mix of practical and fun gifts to Beach Cities seniors in need. Many of these men and women are homebound or live in isolation.

This year, thanks to donations from local individuals and organizations, we are able to provide gift bags to 250 Beach Cities residents. The bags were assembled by camp attendees at AdventurePlex and local Girl Scouts. Students from Manhattan Academy created gift tags for the bags, which are currently being delivered throughout the community by a crew of BCHD volunteers.

Many thanks to the kind-hearted community members who volunteered their time to bring joy and holiday cheer to those in need. This is truly the spirit of the season! Happy Holidays!
