On Sunday, March 5, Beach Cities Health District is hosting the “Taste of Blue Zones,” a mouthwatering event designed to highlight and celebrate many of the healthy dining options being offered by the more than 130 Blue Zones Restaurants in the Beach Cities.

Taste of Blue Zones will be held at the Manhattan Beach Civic Plaza and run from 2-5 p.m. The event will feature an array of healthy samples from 25 popular Blue Zones Restaurants, including Jus’ Poke, Silvio’s Brazilian BBQ, Zinc at Shade and Hermosa Beach Fish Shop, to name a few. There will also be live entertainment, a silent auction, and exciting crafts and activities for kids!

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. All proceeds will be donated to the Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach education foundations. Children 11 and under can register/attend for free (when accompanied by their parents), and have the option to spend time in the supervised AdventurePlex Play Zone just outside the venue – making this alcohol-free celebration of food, health and music fun for the whole family!
