During the open house, join us for a Peace Pole Ceremony to celebrate the power of peace and unity! As part of United Against Hate Week, Beach Cities Health District and the South Bay Community Coalition Against Hate are proud to host a ceremony as part of "The International Day of Peace Wave." This symbolic event highlights our community’s commitment to promoting harmony, understanding and mental well-being through a message of peace. allcove Beach Cities is proud to host our annual covefest event! This event is for ages 12-25 years old. The first 150 registrants will receive a t-shirt. Join us for a fun afternoon of live music, games, interactive art and free food.

Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 5 - 6 p.m.

 

A closed circle space for trans, gender non-conforming and questioning youth to have a safe facilitated group conversation about their unique and shared experiences. An opportunity to meet and connect with other youth over gender identity.

south bay young congress

Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

 

The South Bay Young Congress is a youth initiative organized to bring the young people of Los Angeles’s South Bay together to engage in our democracy through education, discussion, and creativity, to create a more united, just, and peaceful United States. Let’s be the change we want to see in our democracy.
