Thank you to everyone who participated in Beach Cities Volunteer Day on August 7, 2024! More than 120 individuals came together to tend to elementary school gardens in Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach.
This year, volunteers, organizations, clubs, parents, and students worked in BCHD’s 11 LiveWell Kids gardens. Learn more about the program at bchd.org/LiveWellKids. Volunteers planted, harvested, weeded, and prepared the gardens for the upcoming school year.
