The Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) hosts a variety of events, including social hours, training sessions, and support groups. The BCHD also encourages volunteers to help with outreach efforts.

Caring for a loved one with a dementia diagnosis can be overwhelming and stressful. Our support groups offer a safe space to address the challenges that come with caring for someone, find support amongst peers who share similar experiences and openly express your feelings around being a caregiver.
AdventureCamp keeps children active, engaged and learning, with lots of exciting recreational activities and fully chaperoned field trips to places like amusement parks and the beach.
BCHD holds public board meetings on the fourth Wednesday of the month (except August and December). Residents are encouraged to attend board meetings in person or via Zoom.
