Volunteer With Us

Make a positive impact in the community and boost your own well-being, too! Studies show that giving back can reduce stress, increase happiness and overall health. Whether you’re a student, retiree, working professional, parent, or part of a community group or organization, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your interests and availability.

Please review our volunteer application for more information on current volunteer opportunities, including time commitment, age minimum, and other requirements.

Once an application is filled out and submitted via our website, a member of our volunteer team will contact you to discuss placement and next steps.

Thank you for your support.

At Beach Cities Health District (BCHD), volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re looking to give back, meet new people or gain meaningful experience, we offer a wide variety of opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and skill sets.

Sign Up to Volunteer at BCHD Events!

Beach Cities Health District is proud to be out in the community sharing programs and resources that support health and wellbeing, and we could not do it without our volunteers.

Volunteers help staff at family-friendly events ranging from fitness activities and health fairs to community meetings and conservation projects.

All ages and abilities are welcome. Children under 14 must volunteer with an adult. Teens 14 to 17 may participate with a parent-signed waiver.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Beach Cities Health District.
