Administered by Wise and Healthy Aging, the Long Term Care Ombudsman serves as an advocate for residents occupying beds in long-term care facilities in the City and County of Los Angeles. They investigate complaints, provide informal mediation, handle elder abuse reports, and educate residents about their rights under State and Federal regulations.
