Our network of volunteers forms the backbone of Beach Cities Health District (BCHD). Diverse, motivated and talented, BCHD volunteers work in a variety of community-focused programs and play an integral role in improving the health and well-being of Beach Cities residents.

STEP ONE: Watch the Orientation Videos

Since you are unable to come to an orientation in-house, we will bring the orientation to you! We will provide you with the history, mission, and vision of Beach Cities Health District as well as valuable information about our programs and services. This will give you a solid foundation to becoming a volunteer and ambassador for wellness in our community!

STEP TWO: Read our Volunteer Materials

We want to make sure our volunteers come on board as quickly as possible! The documents below provide you with our policies, procedures and information we need every volunteer to know. This will help you navigate your volunteer opportunity effectively and with ease. Please make sure to read these materials before moving on to step three.
