Veterans Crisis Line

The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text.

CalVet – State of California Department of Veteran’s Services

Claims Representation at District Office. Assists vets and their families in accessing Federal and State benefits. Provides claims representation and assistance with appeals. They welcome walk-ins and do not require appointments.

US Dept of Veteran’s Affairs – Los Angeles Veteran’s Resource Center (Gardena Veterans Center)

Vet Centers provide individual, group and family counseling to all veterans who served in any combat zone. Services are also available for their family members. Veterans have earned these benefits through their combat service and all are provided at no cost to the veteran or family.

VA Caregiver Support – VA Long Beach Healthcare System

VA offers a number of services that can provide you with the support that’s right for you. Whether you and the Veteran you care for could use some help at home or you just need someone to listen. A variety of services available to Family Caregivers by contacting the local Caregiver Support Coordinator.
