Beach Cities Volunteer Day

Volunteer Day is an annual Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) community service event where South Bay residents, businesses and organizations come together to support our LiveWell Kids program. Each summer, we partner with many volunteers to prepare 13 elementary school gardens across Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach for a new year of hands‑on garden and nutrition lessons. The LiveWell Kids gardens are more than plants and soil — they serve as living classrooms that spark curiosity, build healthy habits, and connect students to the natural world. • 9:30-11:30 a.m. Volunteer in the school gardens (Various Beach Cities school gardens)
