Join us Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to enjoy local businesses on Artesia Boulevard
Put some walking shoes on and get ready to “WalkAbout Redondo” to meet local businesses in a fun, family-friendly event. BCHD’s Blue Zones Project in partnership with the North Redondo Beach Business Association (NRBBA) will host the fourth annual WalkAbout, a FREE community event that encourages residents to become familiar with local businesses on Artesia Boulevard.
The Redondo Beach WalkAbout circuit is 2.8 miles and offers residents a great way to move naturally and get exercise. Directly in line with all that the Blue Zones Project stands for, WalkAbout offers safe, living streets for residents to enjoy on a warm Saturday afternoon —the circuit follows the sidewalks extending from the South Bay Galleria to Aviation Boulevard.
Attendees will also receive a passport and can get a stamp from each participating business they visit, earning a free BBQ lunch and entry into an opportunity drawing to win an Apple Watch and more. Festivities kickoff at 1922 Artesia Blvd., Redondo Beach 90278. For more information on the event, visit www.nrbba.org/events/walkabout-redondo/
