The Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) hosts a variety of events, including social hours, training sessions, and support groups. The BCHD also encourages volunteers to help with outreach efforts.

BCHD holds public board meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month (except Aug. and Dec.). Residents are encouraged to attend board meetings either via Zoom or at 514 N. Prospect Avenue. Details about the meeting and agenda can be found online.

Our quarterly Social Hour is an opportunity to experience good company and practice some of Blue Zones Project’s® Power 9 Principles of Longevity, including Down Shift and Positive Pack at a Blue Zones Project ApprovedTM Restaurant.
