The Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) hosts a variety of events, including social hours, training sessions, and support groups. The BCHD also encourages volunteers to help with outreach efforts.
teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) teaches teens in grades 9-12 how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among their friends and peers.
BCHD holds public board meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month (except Aug. and Dec.). Residents are encouraged to attend board meetings either via Zoom or at 514 N. Prospect Avenue. Details about the meeting and agenda can be found online.
