Micro Enrichment Grants

In compliance with AB 2019, BCHD adjusted our Micro Enrichment grant process to include two competitive funding cycles per fiscal year.  The first Micro Enrichment grant application period occurred between October 15, 2018 and November 9, 2018 with a total of $22,500 in available funding.  We received 18 applications totaling $60,200 in community requests.  A staff committee met to review the applications using the criteria outlined in the Micro Enrichment Grant Policy.  The following grant awards totaling $21,200 were made:

The next Micro Enrichment grant funding cycle will open in March 2019 with awards granted in May 2019 with an additional $22,500 in available funding.  The total FY 2018-2019 Micro Enrichment grant allocated funding is $45,000.

Micro Enrichment Grants for Fall 2019

The Micro Enrichment Grant applications for Fall 2019 were awarded to seven projects in the amount of $22,890.60. The Micro Enrichment Grant funding cycle for FY 19-20 will open in March 2020.

Lincoln Elementary Running Club
Launch a running club for students interested in participating in physical activity before school.
