For FY 2021-2022, the following grants have been awarded to the following organizations in the amount of $100,000.
Manhattan Beach Community Counseling Center: $10,000
- Individual and group mental health counseling for low-income Beach Cities residents
The Salvation Army Meals on Wheels $45,000
- Home delivered meals for home-bound seniors and disabled adults in the Beach Cities
Manhattan Beach CERT $5,000
- Free CPR training for beach cities residents
Our Village $11,000
- Social-emotional support groups for children ages 4-11
South Bay Children’s Health Center $25,000
- Individual and group counseling for students during the summer
Redondo Beach Rotary Vision to Learn $4,000
- Eye exams and prescription eyeglasses for low income students in Redondo Beach Unified School District
Micro Enrichment Grants for Fall 2021
Youth Suicide Prevention Taskforce SPA-8: $5,000
- Creating a user-friendly guide for community members and families in Service Planning Area 8 (SPA-8) to help them navigate existing mental health resources and support them in moving through challenges on the path to obtain care
Indivisible Arts: $5,000
- After School Visual Arts Program to address our current youth mental health crisis and the growing addiction to technology
