They don’t realize that the rock climbing\, arts and crafts\, play structure fun and Sports Court games are developing healthy habits\, building self-esteem and teaching social skills—that’s the AdventurePlex way! \nChildren aged four to five have different interests and needs\, so they’ll enjoy camp programming designed just for them. Activities include arts and crafts\, music appreciation\, age-appropriate physical skill-building activities and social developmental activities\, such as cooperative and imaginative games. \nCPR and first aid-certified staff lead all camps. Extended care and lunch options are available. Sign up today to ensure a place for your child this Winter Break. \nThe Details: \n\nWe offer seasonal and day camps on the dates below.\nSeasonal and day camps run from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Extra hours: 7-8 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.\n\nAges \n\n4 – 12\n\nCamp Rates: \n\nCamp Day (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.) – $57 R / $63 NR*\nCamp Extended Day (7-8 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.) – $77 R / $82 NR*\n\n  \n*Resident (R) Rates – Applies to residents of Redondo Beach\, Hermosa Beach\, and Manhattan Beach. SUMMARY:teen Mental Health First Aid Training 
DESCRIPTION:teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) teaches teens in grades 9-12 how to identify\, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among their friends and peers. tMHFA is now available to anyone between 9th and 12th grade.The course teaches how young people can have open conversations with their peers about mental health and substance use challenges\, teaches the common signs and symptoms teens should look out for\, and how to seek the help of a responsible and trusted adult. It is a 4.5-hour training that takes place over 3 in-person trainings of 90 minutes each. You must complete all 3 sessions to get certified.
