MoveWell In-Home Exercise
Frail older adults can experience lack of physical activity that can lead to muscle deterioration, impaired balance, limited flexibility and the risk of falling.
BCHD’s physician-approved MoveWell In-Home Exercise program can help you become stronger, healthier and feel better. An exercise specialist visits to determine which exercises would be most beneficial; then a trained volunteer will be matched to you and visit weekly right in your home to assist with your custom exercise plan. The volunteer will also call you once a week to help keep you motivated!
Exercises are simple, safe and easy to perform, and include arm curls, ankle point-and-flex and seated step-in-place.
